clapAbout the Blogathon:

It seems right to remember Vincent Price in the autumn, when we gravitate towards the tales of the macabre that he brought so thrillingly to life. Turner Classic Movies has appropriately decided to honor Price as their October 2013 Star of the Month.

October 25, 2013 marked the 20th anniversary of Price’s death. (And, incidentally, the 23rd anniversary of my birth…) So, I wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate one of my favorite actors, his work, his interests, and his legacy..

Bloggers were welcome to write about any facet of Price’s life, including but not limited to his radio and voice-over work, his theater and television careers, his gourmet adventures, his passion for collecting art—and, of course, his films spanning many genres.

I accepted multiple entries about the same film or topic. After all, everyone has a slightly different perspective, right?

  1. This sounds interesting, fun, and macabre. I look forward to reading insightful posts. Thanks for creating this Blogathon.

  2. Wish I’d known about this sooner. I’ve already done three posts on him this month. Let me think and get back to you but perhaps I can write on another TV show he was in or something.

    • So sorry! I guess I should’ve put it out there a bit more. In the meantime, I’ll have fun catching up on your Price posts, and, if possible, I would love it if you could manage one more for this!
